Hello!

And welcome to my photoblog.

I am a biologist with a passion for photography, Brazilian and currently live in Curitiba-Brazil, but because of my work I get to travel a lot and have also lived in different countries in Europe (Denmark, Germany and Sweden) in the past few years.

As I try not to be an workaholic, because I believe that life is much more than work, I need to occupy my brain with something else... If I have to have an addiction, I better choose something fun, right? But my geeky nature didn't let me go to far, so I ended up with processing images in front of my computer ;-)

Jokes aside, I always enjoyed photography and the pictures you will see here are the result of my hobby, pictures of things that have captured my eyes over the years and around the globe. When I travel, I normally cannot bring my beloved Nikon D70 with me, so many of my pics were taken with regular point-and-shoot cameras, but I try to make the best out of it.

As a Biologist, I tend to focus on Nature subjects for my pics. I also photograph different things, but always seem to come back... so be prepared to see a lot of flowers! And since I seem to have a soundtrack for every moment in my life, lyrics will follow quite often too... Photography & Music are the cathartic instruments that help me get through my life.

Anyway, I have no aspiration to be a professional, but I hope that you'll enjoy viewing these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Please feel free to leave comments and criticize my images, since I'm always looking - with different degrees of success - to improve myself... in everything.
